The Gathering takes place on Thursday June 22nd. Keep in mind that The Gathering can only be experienced with a Weekend Ticket.

Unlike last year, 3-day Weekend Tickets aren't available. A Weekend Ticket always grants you access to all 4 days of greatness at Defqon.1. It is of course possible to join Defqon.1 on Friday with a Weekend Ticket, in case you can't make it on Thursday.

The minimum age for visiting Defqon.1 is 18 years. There will be strict age and identity checks at the entrance, thus make sure you bring your ID (drivers license, ID, passport).  

(A copy of your ID is not valid). 

The drugs policy at Defqon.1 is zero-tolerance. This means that all types of drugs are prohibited. This also includes weed and hash. If drugs are found, you will be handed over to the police.

No, there is only one kind of Weekend Ticket available (both regular and premium) which grants you access to all 4 days of greatness (from Thursday till Sunday). Day tickets will be available for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Yes, there are. You can enter the regular parking field and ask one of the traffic wardens. They will refer you to the disabled parking spaces. 

Yes, we're offering showers and toilets for disabled visitors. Please visit our info point, one of our camping stewards will assist you to the right place.

You can bring in a maximum of 4,5 liters per person for soft drinks and drinks that contain less than 14,5% alcohol

Yes, you can become part of the Defqon.1 Revolution crew. We are offering several packages, consisting of different kinds of activities whereby you can work at the festival grounds. You have to select a ticket option while completing your Travel & Stay order. You first select the number of tickets. The Highlands Campground is a part of our Campgrounds which offers a new experience to your Defqon.1 weekend. Enjoy free shower facilities, a restaurant with amazing food and drinks and a big chill area. Gather all your friends and join us at this new location.

The Highlands Campground has a variety of different pre-setup accommodations, such as the well-known Defqon.1 Tent and the new Defqon.1 Pyramid that become yours to keep after the weekend. Prefer even more comfort? Check out The Pampus or The Boss tent for you and your friends or spend this weekend in one of our Tipi's.  

People who are staying at The Sanctuary Campground can visit The Highlands Campground.

The Sanctuary Campground honors its name. This Campground is filled with luxurious accommodations, activities, and privacy. The spacious area has separate sanitary facilities, a bar, food area, chill area, Wi-Fi and a 24-hour service desk. This is only for the Weekend Warriors who stay at The Sanctuary Campground. No stress about your electronics, each package at The Sanctuary Campground comes with power in your accommodation! Besides all of this, you will also have access to our Wellness area, with Hot Tubs, Massages, and a Sauna, this is the perfect location to chill before the start of your Defqon.1 day! Enjoy a full breakfast, make-up artist and even a hairdresser! 

If you have booked an accommodation on the Highlands Campground you will not have access to The Sanctuary Campground accommodations. 

I have a reservation, what time should I be there?

We ask you to arrive 15 minutes in advance in order to assure your table.

What happens if we are late?

If you arrive 15 minutes late, we offer the table to other visitors. We cannot refund the deposit as is found in the terms and conditions. Be there on time to enjoy a luxury experience that will enrich your Defqon.1 journey.

Where should I report for my reservation?

Next to The Sanctuary Restaurant is a host desk where a hostess will gladly receive you.

How long can we sit in the restaurant?

Each reservation includes a time slot of 1.5 hours in the restaurant. In order to give everyone the opportunity to enjoy this luxury experience, we ask you to leave the table after the time slot has ended.

Why do we have to pay a 10 Euro deposit per person?

Due to high interest for dining in The Sanctuary Restaurant, we ask a deposit to ensure your partaking. But don’t worry, this will eventually be deducted from the bill if you show up.

What happens to my deposit?

The 10 euro per person deposit will eventually be deducted from the bill if you show up on the right time slot.

What if I want to change my reservation?

You can change your reservation up to 4 hours in advance depending on the availability.

What if I want to cancel my reservation?

You can cancel your reservation up to 24 hours in advance. Please keep in mind that this action will cause your costs not to be refunded.

I am vegetarian, can I also eat in the restaurant?

Yes, vegetarian options are also offered at the restaurant.

What are the lunch times?

The lunch menu is from 13:00 to 16:00. You can order a la carte.

What are the dinner times?

From 16:00 our 3-course dinner starts. You can choose from a variety of dishes per course and pay an agreed rate of € 57.50 regardless of your choice.

What if I have certain allergies?

Our chefs do their utmost best to take certain allergies into account. However, we can never guarantee that no form of a certain substance is present in a product.

No, both The Highlands Campground and The Sanctuary Campground are only accessible for guests with a booked accommodation. So, people with a bring-your-own tent cannot place their tent at The Highlands or The Sanctuary or visit you at The Highlands Campground and/or The Sanctuary Campground.

• Can I get breakfast on Monday?

We don’t offer our breakfast service on Monday, but you can buy something to eat at different vendors at the Wasted Lands. 

• I am staying at The Highlands, why can I not choose the breakfast at the Sanctuary Restaurant?

The breakfast at the Sanctuary restaurant is for The Sanctuary visitors only. Staying at The Highlands, go for the Grab & Go boxes.  

• Where can I pick up my Grab & Go Breakfast?

We will let you know when you arrive at the Holy Grounds!  

• What will be included in the breakfast?

Enter the festival through one of the designated camping entrances and our camping staff will show you where you van set up your tent.

A Friends Camp has room for 20 to 50 people. You will receive more info on your Friends Camp booking via email.

It is possible to add people to your Friends Camp booking, up to a maximum of 50 people. Just send an email to travel@q-dance.com and we will arrange this for you. Additional fees and a €32,50 admin fee apply.

If you want to lower the amount of people in your Friends Camp, there are no refunds.

There are different types of transfers available in the shop.  

The transfers shown in your travel & stay package are the private transfers from Schiphol Airport, bus transfer returns from Schiphol Airport, CS Amsterdam or CS Utrecht, Daily shuttlebus (only with parc accommodations) and daily transfers (only with hotel accommodations). 

The transfers shown at the organized bus transport – Dutch bus are transfers from different places in the Netherlands. These buses are available on different days. Please pay attention to which arrival and departure day you select.

Shuttle bus Dronten to Defqon.1 . The shuttle bus is only available for those in possession of a Defqon.1 Weekend Ticket! This is a shuttle bus ticket for transfer between Dronten train station and the festival site.

A private transfer is a transfer just for you and possibly your friends. This transfer will go from Schiphol Airport to your accommodation.  

We will send you an e-mail later to receive your flight information. With this information, we will book your private transfer. If you want to leave at different times, please let us know!  

You can purchase a private transfer for 1 to 3 persons or for 4 to 7 persons. You don’t need to select the private transfer for each person. For example, if you are with 2 persons, you need to select 1x the private transfer 1-3 persons.  

On Thursday and Friday, transfers from Central Station (CS) Amsterdam, Amsterdam Schiphol and Central Station (CS) Utrecht will be available. These transfers are set for Thursday or Friday and will go back on Monday. These days are set in advance and cannot be changed. The times are set as well and shown during your purchasing process.  

Bus Transfers:

The parc and hotel packages include a transfer or shuttle to and from Defqon.1. Please read the information below your booked accommodation to find out all the information regarding your transfer or shuttle. The parc shuttle will run once every hour and will continue until 02:00 AM, please keep in mind that after each day at Defqon.1 the shuttle can be crowded, so you may have to wait a little while. The hotel transfers will drive on the set times communicated 2 weeks prior to Defqon.1.  

Parc:

Each parc package includes a daily shuttle bus from and to Defqon.1 for each person. The shuttle bus will run once per hour.  Please download your transfer voucher before checking in at the reception, you will need this to receive the needed wristband for the shuttle bus.  

Hotel:

Each hotel package includes a return transfer on Saturday per person. The other days are not included in the package, these transfers can be purchased separate. Please download your transfer voucher prior to check-in. The Saturday transfer is shown on your transfer voucher, the extra transfers are shown under items at your transfer voucher. With the transfer voucher, you will receive the correct bus voucher during check-in. This is needed to enter the bus!  
You will receive the transfer times 2 weeks prior to Defqon.1 by e-mail, please check your spam inbox and read the transfer e-mail carefully. Please keep in mind that there are fixed transfer times, if you don't make it on time to the transfer bus, Q-dance Travel cannot arrange any substitute transportation or provide refunds.

Each hotel package includes a return transfer on Saturday per person. The other days are not included in the package, these transfers can be purchased separately. Please download your transfer voucher prior to check-in. The Saturday transfer is shown on your transfer voucher by default, any extra transfers you may have purchased will be shown under 'items' on your transfer voucher. The hotel transfers will run on set times, communicated 2 weeks prior to Defqon.1.

Priority weekend parking cards are parking spaces directly at the entrance of the campsite, so a more favorable location and not so far away by walking to the festival. You will also camp at campsite 0. If you do not want to camp at campsite 0, you can also continue walking to the other camping grounds.

Regular weekend parking cards are placed further away. They are regular which means it will be a longer walk to get to the festival and your camping. The regular weekend parking cards are placed at campsite 5 and 6.

No, it is not allowed to bring your car trailer to the Defqon.1 parking. This is also not possible when you're in possession of a Premium Parking ticket. On the other hand, it is allowed to bring a Volkswagen Van.

You can enter a raffle for free as a DEDIQATED Member, while you can purchase experiences. We have experiences for both free and DEDIQATED Members.

It's not possible to participate in a raffle or experience if you are not willing to visit Defqon.1 2023. They are both a part of the festival.

The minimum age to participate in an experience or raffle is 18 years.

Check out the prizes on the raffle website. Every DEDIQATED Member can participate to win and we have different raffles for different festival days. Please be aware you can only participate as a DEDIQATED Member and in possession of a Defqon.1 2023 festival ticket.

You can find the raffles in the Experiences tab within the Defqon.1 2023 festival mode in the Q-dance app and via the button below. Select a raffle, accept the terms and register. You’ll receive a confirmation e-mail after registering.

The Defqon.1 Theatre is a brand-new area at Defqon.1 where we’ll host a very intimate and exclusive experience in collaboration with Sefa. There will be 20 shows spread across all four days of greatness and tickets will go on sale on May 27^th at 13:00 CEST for DEDIQATED Members.

Tickets for the Defqon.1 Theatre presents: Sefa will go on sale for DEDIQATED Members from May 27^th at 13:00 CEST and can only be ordered via the Q-dance app in the Defqon.1 experience store. The Regular Sale starts on June 10^th at 13:00 CEST.

A DEDIQATED Member ticket costs 10 euros. A Regular Ticket (available from June 10^th) costs 15 euros. One ticket grants you access to one show and is only valid for the time slot you picked in the shop.

The Defqon.1 Theatre by Sefa is completely sold out. Therefore, it is not possible to change the time slot of your reservation.

There are two ways to view the livestream:

• Via the Q-dance app. The days before we enter the Holy Grounds the Q-dance app will be placed into Defqon.1 mode. Just click on the stage you want to see and the livestream starts. 
• Via the Q-dance website. Go to Q-dance Network and select the stage you want to see.
• Within the livestream, you can also switch between stages and checkout the timetable
• The RED, BLUE, BLACK and UV will stream video livestreams
• The YELLOW, INDIGO, MAGENTA, GOLD, SILVER, GREEN, ORANGE and PURPLE will stream audio livestreams.

• A monthly membership costs 4,99 EUR a month
• An annual membership costs 49,99 EUR a year
• You can stop your monthly membership anytime, even during the first month.
• Apart from this, the same privileges apply on both membership types.

There are two ways to cancel your membership:

• In the Q-dance app. On the home screen, click on your avatar in the top left. Select “membership” and “delete” to stop your membership. 
• On the Q-dance website. On the home page, click on “My Membership” in the index on the left en click on “delete” to stop your membership.
  
  

If you subscribed to DEDIQATED Membership via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you have to stop your membership there.

We agree things haven’t always been easy and we regret this. That’s why we’ve been working hard to fix the problems you encountered. If you became a DEDIQATED Member with us, you can now quit in a few steps. Just as easy as 1, 2 3…

Because you’re DEDIQATED and you pay upfront, you still have the right to all the DEDIQATED privileges for the term you paid for. However, if we delete your Q-dance account, you can use these anymore. That’s why we need your approval via our Customer Support, to make sure you understand the consequences and accept that fact you lose your remaining access to the DEDIQATED privileges.
