The minimum age for visiting Defqon.1 is 18 years. There will be strict age and identity checks at the entrance, make sure you bring your ID (drivers license, ID, passport).

Yes, you need to purchase two or three separate legendary Defqon.1 bracelets if you are attending Defqon.1 on multiple days with day tickets (so, if you don’t have a weekend ticket). 

If you're planning to visit Defqon.1 on Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday with separate day tickets, you’ll need to pay for both bracelets. Each bracelet is linked to a specific day and is used for payments at the Festival Grounds. Both bracelets will, of course, be sent to your home address.

Yes! During the DEDIQATED Sale at October 22nd, all Travel & Stay Packages including tickets will become available. Such as Hotels, Cottages & Apartments, The Sanctuary and Highlands Campgrounds and Friendscamp (while supplies last).

The hotel packages are the best option if you want to attend Defqon.1 for one or multiple days. All the other accommodations can only be booked from Thursday until Monday. 

Several accommodations require a deposit, which you will receive back after Defqon.1 if the accommodation is left in good state. Each deposit amount is mentioned on the webpage of the accommodation. The deposit needs to be paid prior to Defqon.1 and online, you will receive an e-mail 3 weeks prior to Defqon.1 with further instructions. All the information regarding the deposit can be found in the confirmation e-mail. Please note that the deposit is not included in the package price. 

The package price is based on the accommodation with full occupancy. A surcharge is applied when you have not selected the maximum number of persons to join you in the accommodation. For example, a surcharge applies when you book a 4-person accommodation with 3 persons. The surcharge is not the same as the accommodation deposit and will not be refunded after Defqon.1. Still in doubt? Contact us at travel@q-dance.com.

You cannot resell your Travel & Stay Package via Ticketswap. However, we can change the name on your order (an administration fee of €32.50 applies for a name change). Please send your request to travel@q-dance.com. Adjustments can be requested until May 16^th, 2025 

It is possible to add someone to your booking if your accommodation isn’t fully occupied and if there are still Defqon 1. Weekend Festival Tickets available. You can e-mail travel@q-dance.com with your order number and the amount of persons you would like to add to your booking. Please note that an administrational fee of €32,50 applies per adjustment to your booking. 

You can cancel your booking during the legal period according to Dutch consumer law. After this period, it is unfortunately no longer possible to cancel your booking free of charge.

If you have purchased priority parking, please be aware that you will receive your priority parking ticket on a later date via an email from Paylogic. 
 

Each park package includes a daily shuttle bus from and to Defqon.1 for each person. The shuttle will run multiple times per day and will continue until 02:00 AM. Please keep in mind that at the end of each day of Defqon.1 the shuttle can be crowded, so it is possible that you have to wait a little while for the shuttle. All the transfer times will be displayed at every park. 

Please download your transfer voucher before checking in at the reception of the park where you are staying, you need this to collect the wristband needed for the shuttle bus. 

Each hotel package includes a 2-way transfer on Saturday per person in your booking. The other days are not included in the package, these transfers can be purchased separately. The transfers go towards Defqon.1 and back to the hotel once a day. 

Please download your transfer voucher prior to check-in. The Saturday transfer is shown on your transfer voucher by default, any extra transfers you may have purchased will be shown under 'items' on your transfer voucher. The hotel transfers will run at set times, communicated 2 weeks prior to Defqon.1. No, both the Highlands as the Sanctuary campgrounds are only open to guests who did book an accommodation there. Guests with a bring-your-own tent cannot join you at the Highlands or the Sanctuary. 

The Defqon.1 Tent and the Defqon.1 Pyramid are all yours after Defqon.1. Other tents are rental products and cannot be taken home. 

The Highlands is a part of our Defqon.1 Campground which offers a real Defqon.1 experience. Enjoy free shower facilities, a big chill area with free charging stations to recharge your devices and many more perks. Gather all your fellow Warriors and join us in one of the pre-set-up accommodations. The Highlands has a variety of different accommodations, such as the well-known Defqon.1 Tent and the Defqon.1 Pyramid that become yours to keep after the weekend. Prefer even more comfort? All forms of gas cylinders, fuel (gasoline, diesel, etc.), generator batteries, or dry ice/fuel are no longer allowed on the Defqon.1 Campsites. Be aware that this has changed compared to previous years. This decision has been made on behalf of local government services. Small disposable BBQs are still allowed.

Transfers going from Amsterdam CS, Utrecht CS and Schiphol to Defqon.1 are available on Thursday and Friday and will return on Monday. Therefore, these transfers are exclusively available for weekend visitors.

Transfers shown at the organised bus transport – Dutch bus are transfers from different places in The Netherlands. These buses are available on different days. Please pay attention to which arrival and departure day you select.

Shuttle bus Dronten to Defqon.1. The shuttle bus is only available for those in possession of a Defqon.1 Weekend Ticket. This is a shuttle bus ticket for transfer between Dronten train station and the festivalsite.

Park + Ride - This parking ticket is for a remote parking and has a shuttle bus transfer to and from the Defqon.1 festivalsite included, which will transfer you over a private route and will avoid traffic jams. The P+R ticket is only available for those in possesion of a Weekend Ticket.

Hotel:
Each hotel package includes a return transfer on Saturday for each person. The other days are not included in the package, these transfers can be purchased separately. Please download your transfer voucher prior to check-in. The Saturday transfer is shown on your transfer voucher, the extra transfers are shown under items on your transfer voucher. You will receive the transfer times 2 weeks prior to Defqon.1 by email, please check your spam inbox and read the transfer email carefully. Organised transfer:
Did you purchase a transfer? Please download and bring your ticket and show it when entering the bus. Your pickup location will be announced 3 weeks prior to the event by email.

Each hotel package includes a return transfer on Saturday per person. The other days are not included in the package, these transfers can be purchased separately. Please download your transfer voucher prior to check-in. The Saturday transfer is shown on your transfer voucher by default, any extra transfers you may have purchased will be shown under 'items' on your transfer voucher. The hotel transfers will run on set times, communicated 2 weeks prior to Defqon.1.

The Defqon.1 Park + Ride. An affordable parking option close to the festivalsite including a shuttle bus to and from Defqon.1. These buses have their own routing on a private road, meaning there’s clear passage to and from the festivalsite and you won't get stuck in traffic.

Everyone who makes use of the Park + Ride instantly gets access to campsites 1-4 through the bus entrance. Please note that the Park + Ride option is only for weekend visitors.

Please be aware that the Park + Ride shuttle service is only available for Weekend Warriors.

Besides the limitation on drinks - 4.5 litres per person, no more than 15% alcohol - you are allowed to bring one big suitcase and a backpack per person. Things that can be folded, like a tent or a chair, are also allowed. Unfortunately it is not allowed to bring handcarts on the P+R shuttle bus, due to its capacity.

Priority parking cards are only available for weekend visitors. These cards give you guaranteed access to campsite 1-4, close to The Highlands, The Sanctuary and Friends Camps.

The Regular Parking is placed further away, which means it will be a longer walk to get to the festival. A Regular Parking Card guarantees you a camping spot on campsites 5 or 6.

Be aware we don’t provide any charging points for electric cars.  

The Defqon.1 parking areas are only meant for cars, so it is not allowed to park your camper, caravans, trailers or big vans there. Small vans are allowed (max. 9 passenger van). 

It’s also not allowed to sleep in your car or to camp in surrounding areas outside of the Defqon.1 Camping Grounds. 

 

A solar carport has been installed over the Defqon.1 parking area. Because of this, please note that there are limited dimensions for vehicles parking here.

We strongly recommend traveling to Defqon.1 with cars that have a height of less than 1.90 meters. Cars above this height are not able to park on the normal parking terrain and are therefore referred by the parking attendants to park in another designated area. From there, you will have to walk a longer distance to the entrance of Defqon.1. The maximum dimensions for the solar-carport area is: 4.4 meters length, 1,90 meter width, and 1,90 meter height.


These maximum dimensions do not apply to the Priority Parking and the Park + Ride.

No, we do not offer any charging stations at the Defqon.1 parking areas.

Yes. Since experiences are an exclusive upgrade to your weekend, most of them are limited.

Some experiences can only be pre-ordered before Defqon.1 starts, while others will be available throughout the weekend. All experiences need to be paid for at the moment you order them.

Yes. You’ll receive an order confirmation from our shop, and after a couple of minutes, we’ll send you the QR codes you need to access the experience.
